Welcome to Alma Autism – a faith-based initiative equipping churches to better understand, include, and support individuals on the autism spectrum and their families. Rooted in compassion and guided by the love of Christ, we provide resources, training, and community connections to help church communities and congregations become more inclusive and welcoming to all. At Alma Autism, we believe every person is uniquely created by God and deserves a place to belong, worship, and thrive.

The Gambia Mission Trip January 2026

In January 2026, Kirstyn will be going to The Gambia to provide teacher training about special educational needs and disabilities. Are you able to sponsor and support this trip. We just need a lottle more towards out fundraiser to cover the costs of the trip and to buy resources to take out with us. This is a mission trip and Kirstyn will not recieve any financial contribution for it. All donations go towards the flights, accomodation, food and resources for the training days.

Workshop at Disability and the Church Conference

  • The Sensory Tray Bible: Sharing the Gospel Through Sensory Play
  • This is a practical workshop, where the group will create a bible story / the salvation story using a sensory tray. Attendees will see all the different ways it can be used, individually, with a 1:1 buddy, in church and wider groups, at home, as well as learning the benefits of using this for those who learn through play and through sensory processing. It’s a fun and interactive workshop.
